Albert Almora Jr.

World Series Champion • 6-Year Major Leaguer • 13+ Year Professional Athlete
Husband. Dad. Coach. Leader.
I’m a husband and a dad first and foremost, but baseball has been my first love for as long as I can remember. I grew up with a fire for the game — a passion that pushed me to dedicate every single day to becoming the best player I could possibly be.
My journey wasn’t easy. I’ve lived the highs of being part of the 2016 World Series championship team with the Chicago Cubs, standing on that field in one of the greatest moments in baseball history. And I’ve lived the lows — sitting on the bench hoping for a chance, being sent down after working so hard to stay up, and fighting through setbacks that tested me mentally, physically, and emotionally.
I’ve been called up. I’ve stayed up.
And I’ve also been sent down… and fought for a comeback.
Those years taught me everything: discipline, resilience, humility, leadership, and what it truly takes to compete at the highest level.
After 13 years in professional baseball and 6 years in the majors, I’m stepping into the next chapter — using my experience to guide the next generation of athletes. Not just to hit better or field cleaner, but to be prepared for the mental, emotional, and character demands of high-level baseball.
Because talent matters — but mindset, preparation, and character are what separate the good from the great.
Today, I’m committed to coaching young athletes virtually from anywhere in the world and giving them the tools I wish I had earlier:
Elite hitting and fielding techniques used at the pro level
Mental toughness, confidence, and game IQ
Character development and leadership skills
A roadmap to becoming the type of athlete coaches WANT on their team
I’ve walked the path. I know the pressure. I know the grind. And now, I’m here to help your athlete rise to their full potential — not just as a player, but as a person.
If your athlete has big dreams, I’m ready to help them chase them with purpose, discipline, and heart.

Every great player starts with one thing: knowing what they do best.
Swing mechanics and contact quality
Fielding fundamentals, footwork, and arm action
Game IQ, confidence, and competitiveness
We’ll pinpoint their natural strengths — whether it’s power, contact, speed, glove work, instincts, or leadership — and use that as our foundation.
When an athlete understands their edge, they stop guessing and start playing with purpose.

Pro-level players don’t just look good in practice — they adjust under pressure.
Making quick adjustments at the plate (different counts, pitchers, and game situations)
Fielding with confidence
Developing a strong mental game: handling failure, pressure, and adversity
Learning how to respond, not react, when things don’t go their way
The goal is to turn your athlete into someone who can adapt in real time — the kind of player coaches trust in big moments.

Talent might open doors, but habits keep you in the game.
Simple, repeatable hitting and fielding drills your athlete can do on their own
Pre-game and post-game routines that support recovery, confidence, and consistency
Daily mindset habits: goal setting, reflection, leadership
Character building: respect, work ethic, accountability, and being a great teammate
This is where your athlete becomes pro-level ready — not just a good hitter or fielder, but a complete player with the skills, mindset, and habits to keep growing year after year.

I’ve spent my life in this game—7 USA National Teams, 6th overall pick, 8 Major League seasons, and a World Series championship. I’ve lived the pressure, the grind, the setbacks, and the breakthroughs. Now I’m taking everything I learned and giving it to players who want to grow the right way.
This academy is built for players who want to:
-Develop a real plan at the plate
-Improve confidence, approach, and consistency
-Learn the mental game that separates prospects from everyone else
-Train with purpose—not guesswork
Whether your player is just starting out or already competing at a high level, my goal is simple: help them reach their potential faster with big-league level coaching, structure, and belief.
Spots are limited.
If you’re ready to invest in your player’s future, I’m ready to coach them like they’re my own.
I operate a give-first business model and want to provide you with immediate results. After booking your free evaluation, you’ll receive simple instructions to submit swing videos, fielding clips, and a short athlete questionnaire. Coach Almora reviews everything personally and provides a breakdown of strengths, areas to develop, and a customized training plan.
We work with motivated athletes typically ages 8–18, from beginners building fundamentals to advanced players preparing for high school, college, or pro-level development.
Your athlete is being trained by a World Series Champion, 6-Year MLB Veteran, and 13-Year Professional Player who has lived the game at the highest level. The training isn’t just mechanical — it includes mindset, preparation, and leadership skills that most young athletes never get access to.
'll be personally guiding you through a specific set of steps to achieve your goals by evaluating your swing, performance, and any insight that you provide me with.
It's free, but one thing I do need is for you to show up.
I need you to commit to following the process each day, otherwise I can't help you!
Yes. Training covers hitting, outfield/fielding mechanics, footwork, reaction drills, approach at the plate, and situational awareness.
Coach Almora teaches athletes how to handle pressure, build confidence, overcome failure, and respond to adversity — the same mental frameworks used by elite players. This is one of the biggest factors that separates good athletes from great ones.
They learn how to identify their strengths, adapt under pressure, and build sustainable pro-level habits. This includes hitting mechanics, fielding fundamentals, mindset training, confidence building, and character development.
Beginners are welcome. The Almora Approach meets athletes where they are and builds them from the fundamentals up. Every athlete benefits from learning proper mechanics and mindset early.
Just a bat, glove, and enough space to do basic drills. A smartphone or camera for video feedback is ideal — no advanced equipment needed.
Most athletes see improvements in:
Swing consistency and power
Contact quality and approach at the plate
Footwork, reaction time, and fielding confidence
Game mindset, focus, and resilience
Discipline, leadership, and personal character
With consistent effort, they become more complete, pro-ready players.
